FAQs
Is this the main Children’s Health Defense (CHD) organization?
No, this is one of many State Chapters of Children’s Health Defense. Other state, country and continent chapters extend the CHD mission in their jurisdictions. See Children’s Health Defense National if you are looking for the parent organization.
What is Robert F. Kennedy Junior’s current role with Children’s Health Defense?
RFK Jr. is the Founder, and former Chief Legal Counsel and Chair, of Children’s Health Defense. He may make himself available for occasional CHD speaking opportunities.
How did the Washington chapter of Children’s Health Defense get started?
The Washington chapter was started by leaders of Informed Choice Washington who saw that organizing Washington’s health freedom movement under the trusted banner of Children’s Health Defense would be a great opportunity. They could reach wider audiences, inspire more people to get involved in the wider CHD mission, and therefore bring about more change in the state. Informed Choice Washington will continue to advocate for informed consent and the elimination of coercive vaccine mandates.
Do my donations to the Washington chapter stay in Washington?
90% of your donations to the Washington Chapter are used specifically on efforts in Washington state, and 10% goes to national where the core research, education, and litigation work is done. The state chapters work closely with the national organization, which provides much of the infrastructure for state chapters and access to their resources and experts.
I’ve already donated $10 to CHD National and am considered a lifetime member. Do I have to donate $10 again to be a lifetime member of the Washington Chapter?
No. Once you joined CHD’s national member group, you’re a lifetime member of the entire organization, including the chapters and don’t need to donate again. You were asked to “sign-up” or “opt-in” to the Washington Chapter in order to have your permission to send you emails and newsletters from our chapter. Your initial donations are appreciated to get the state chapter up and running.
