Food is Medicine
“Food is Medicine” is not just an expression, it’s a Rockefeller Foundation initiative, a U.S. Health & Human Services “Project to Unify and Advance Collective Action”, and an Aspen Institute project. Major sponsors include Walmart and Amazon. The goal of these efforts is to “medicalize” access to food specific to improving medical conditions through the healthcare system. What does it all mean?
In the HEALTH HOUR, David Brownstein, MD, of the Center for Holistic Medicine, provides insights into how we can all avoid and reverse medical issues by simply making better food choices.
In the LIBERTY HOUR, show hosts explore the good, the bad, and the very concerning with the government, global foundations, and big business industrializing “Food is Medicine” in the form of prescriptions and insurance-covered access to their vision of what humans should be eating.
